Drawing from a long and respected career in leadership in the music industry and from the digital-marketing curriculum he developed and teaches in UCLA’s Music Industry program, Jason Feinberg leads this Music Marketing Bootcamp at The Songwriting School on Saturday 7/25, from 2-6pm PT to distill the most essential principles, decisions, and practical assignments into an intensive four-hour working session for artists, songwriters, producers, and music professionals.

Jason Feinberg is a marketing, technology, and strategy executive who has held leadership roles at Universal Music Group, Pandora, Concord, and Epitaph. He is currently Senior Vice President of KOSIGN at Kobalt Music, empowering songwriters to collect their global royalties with speed, transparency, and control.
His unique strength lies in strategically combining the creative world of artists with a developer-level understanding of technology to grow fanbases, revenues, and businesses.

He has deployed marketing and technology initiatives for artists including Guns N’ Roses, U2, Frank Zappa, Bad Religion, Lady Gaga, The Beatles, KISS, Tom Waits, and Elton John, as well as iconic brands like Motown, Blue Note, and Def Jam. Current projects include AI, insights, marketing tools, automation, and operations strategy for multiple record labels and music technology platforms.

He is a lecturer in Digital Marketing at the Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA.
