The mission of the open class SONGS OF SOCIAL CHANGE is to aim the considerable heart, character, insight, perception, and talent of the larger songwriting community both in and beyond Los Angeles to improve the honest dialog in our country and in the world, to create better understanding where differences exist, and to advocate boldly for those whose voices need hearing. This is non-partisan work. This is people work--work on behalf of making music that might be timely and timeless.
