• 6 singers get to work with Katie and Miguel while we watch and learn. In the Zoom setting, since we will be muted, we can vocalize along, putting their notes to work for ourselves in real time--or watching how the performer does. 
• All of us get a high-level education about the healthy mechanics of the voice followed by detailed warmups separated by those identifying as female or male singers (Katie will take the females, Miguel will take the males). 
• All of us get exercises and drills to sing the high notes every time
• All of us get access to the edited video with audio exercises broken out to practice and train with for years to come
• All of us get to ask questions in the chat--any questions Katie and Miguel don't get to, we'll record their answers and put that video at the private workshop archive

What: 2-hr Interactive vocal technique workshop with two master teachers, complete with separate warm-ups for male and female singers, an essentially valuable instruction on the mechanics of the voice, a series of exercises for singing the high notes, and a hands-on period of instruction with 6 pre-registered singers where the instructors guide them through the high notes.

Katie Riggs and Miguel Manzo will answer every (reasonable!) question submitted in the chat as well--any questions we don't get to in real time, we will record their answers and that video will be included in the workshop video materials as a bonus.

What if I Want to Be a Performer and I Am Not in the First Six to Sign Up?
We will accept a few more than 6 registrations; you will be on the Waiting List if you are not among the first 6 in the order of registration. If you do not get to perform in the workshop, you will be refunded the difference between the Performer rate and Attendee rate as it was at the time of your enrollment. 

What if I Register to Be a Performer and I Am Unable to Attend or Perform on the date of the event?
You will still receive access to the workshop, but any changes after 2pm on 9/30 cannot be refunded.

What if I Register as an Attendee and discover that I am unable to attend? 
We will miss you! There is profound and enduring value in the on-demands materials--not simply the replay but how the supporting materials are organized for your continued training. You will receive great value for your investment. There are no refunds after 9/30, 2pm PT.

KATIE RIGGS

Considered one of LA’s finest vocal coaches, Katie Riggs has been teaching voice for over twenty-two years. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Katie grew up at the knee of arguably the most distinguished and successful voice teacher in the business, her father Seth Riggs, creator of Speech Level Singing. Training her own voice since she was seven years old and working side-by-side with her father earned Katie a lifetime of training.  It’s given her extraordinary vocal insight, extensive knowledge and instincts second to none.

Katie teaches develops and unfolds the voices of everyday singers as well as the industry’s finest. MIGUEL MANZO

Miguel Manzo has been named The Wizard of the Voice for his ability to detect and correct vocal problems. Some timeline points in his professional bio:

He became the First Mexican vocal instructor certified by Seth Riggs to teach the revolutionary technique Speech Level Singing™ (SLS).

He was a pioneer of this technique in Spain, Argentina and in his native country, Mexico, becoming an international reference and being able to work with the best vocal and artistic coaches from all over the world.

After 11 years of training in SLS and the highest level achieved within the certification program in Europe and America, Miguel then joins the Institute for Vocal Advancement® (IVA) as a Mentor Teacher (maximum degree).

In 2021, he leaves IVA to focus on his new projects: The Platinum Voice Summit and Level-Up: Master Your Mix, this last one together with the wonderful vocal coach from Los Angeles, Katie Riggs. They have started the project Level-Up: Master Your Mix with the end in mind to bring together the vocal mechanics from the science, anatomic and practical approach to help the singers develop their voices in a more understandable and faster way.

Miguel has worked as a vocal coach on different TV singing shows in two different continents and few countries and with different major artists and amateur singers passionate about singing.

Miguel has studied at well recognized institutions, such as the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and Vocaltech in London.
