About our Distinguished Guest:
Allison Wood launched Vibrant Ground Music in 2015 after 15 years of corporate experience across labels, publishers, and studios. She began her career at Twentieth Century Fox, which led to stops at NARAS, Sony Pictures Digital, BMG Publishing and Universal Music Group as head of the TV licensing department. In 2010, she became the head of Creative Film & TV Music at Universal responsible for pitching the world’s largest music catalog, frontline and international releases across all media. Successes included Neon Trees on-camera performance for Buick and the platinum-selling soundtrack album “Pitch Perfect”. In 2014, Allison started her own Music Supervision company (Vibrant Ground Music) and has had the honor of being a part of several amazing project such as: Tony Hawk: Until The Wheels Falls Off (Guild of Music Supervisor winner for best music supervision in a documentary film), Somebody Somewhere (HBO), What Would Sophia Loren Do? (Netflix); Two Distant Strangers (Oscar winning short); See (Apple TV+); and Move It! (SnapChat). Upcoming projects include Turn Me On (indie film), Breath of Fire (HBO Documentary series) and Strangers Things animated spin off (Netflix). In addition to her Music Supervision company, Allison has opened a publishing company/record label with award winning songwriter/artist Tim Myers (called 105 Decibels). With 105, Tim and Allison look to build a company with an expansive creative space for authentic human expression.
