MASTER YOUR FREEDOM AS AN ARTIST, Vocal Performance Class - FALL Starting WED 10/25

This brand new class is offered for graduates of Conquer Your Fear as an Artist as well as select, more experienced singers, by permission of the instructor, to keep you moving forward from fear through freedom toward becoming iconic as an artist.

In Joy Graysen's beloved vocal performance class Conquer Your Fear as an Artist, singers of all experience levels come first to understand the fears that limit (stage fright, fear of rejection, judgment, or failure) and move toward creative freedom. In this next level class, singers make use of that freedom to both elevate their quality and confidence as performers and explore all that might be possibly, creatively and personally.

For graduates of Conquer Your Fear as an Artist and certain, more experience singers, by permission of the instructor.

There is a section of Conquer Your Fear as an Artist meeting Saturday afternoons, starting 10/21. Want to know which is the right setting for you? CONTACT US and let's put you in the right room, singer!

-the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.

-the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.

-the right or privilege of unrestricted use or access

Freedom is the state of being allowed to do what you want to do.

The state of not being subject to or affected by (something undesirable)

Definition of free for English Language Learners. : to release (a person or animal) from a prison, cage, etc. : to release (someone or something) from being physically held or blocked. : to cause or allow (someone or something) to stop having or being affected by something unpleasant, painful, or unwanted.

You’ll notice the word free in freedom. Free comes from the German frei, meaning, “to love.” The word friend shares this origin.

So, when we don’t feel free to be ourselves on stage, we become smaller, less brilliant versions of ourselves. Our technique suffers. Our connection with the audience suffers. We become frustrated that we cannot show our “true selves” to the audience.

We become anxious about overcoming this and become more locked onto the problem. We become “locked inside” of ourselves, prisoners.

But Prisoners of what??  Where is the restraint coming from? Who is the warden?

What is the outside force keeping us caged?

But fear of what?

Fear of not being able to be and show our true selves, our true beauty, our true power, our divinity.

We are afraid that we will be seen as cowering prisoners. We are most afraid that we will be seen as less than we are.

The irony is that our obsession with this is the very thing that keeps us prisoners. Like a dog chasing its own tail. There can never be a solution in this.

But there is a solution.

Once you understand the anatomy of Fear, in my CONQUER YOUR FEAR AS AN ARTIST class, you will have a new sense of FREEDOM.

You will no longer need to watch yourself from outside of yourself and you will be flowing OUTWARDS.

This is an AMAZING feeling and things will start improving immeasurably in terms of your technique, comfort, passion, honesty, and audience connection.

But this state of freedom is new and “naked” and uncharted territory in most cases.

MASTER YOUR FREEDOM AS AN ARTIST will help you explore what to DO with this new state of being.

You will learn how to:

-Feel FREE to express your deepest self on stage

-Discover the super-powers Freedom allows you

-Discover what it feels like to reveal yourself completely on stage

-Discover how your technique expands when you are not “watching yourself”

-Practice your super-powers until they are no longer foreign to you
-Become the artist you always knew you were
