Free & Open Event
Meet and learn from Erin Dillon, a former music supervisor who is now Director of Music Curation for Songtradr, how to place your music in film, tv, and commercials in this Free Workshop, Monday June 24, 8pm at The Songwriting School, on-campus and streaming live online.
The night will include an overview of music licensing, a discussion of current and emerging revenue streams and opportunities, and will leave ample time for questions and answers. Learn more about music supervision through the ears of an expert. Also a chance to learn first-hand about the services Songtradr provides to artists and creators to see if they are a good fit for your own catalog.
Our distinguished panelist Erin Dillon will be joined by Karen Dezelle, a singer/songwriter with placements in film and tv who is a music curator at Songtradr and a long-time past student at The Songwriting School.
Want to learn more about sync-licensing? Watch for the return of Placing Songs in Film, TV, & Commercials, on-campus and online, this FALL 2019!

Karen Dezelle is an LA-based singer/songwriter who sings indie folk, with pop, alt-country, and Americana influences. She writes and composes her own music and has played at famed venues and festivals across the United States and UK, including SXSW, the House of Blues, The Hotel Cafe, Ain’t Nothin But Blues Bar, and The Bitter End. After the success of her 2013, 2014, and 2016 albums, “Lost and Found,” "Bloom, Unfold, Wither," and "Room For Two," Dezelle set to work crafting beautifully emotional songs that make up her latest EP, "Secret in the Heart of the Poet," which was released February 2019.
