Paul's guest this month is the great PERRY BOTKIN, a Grammy-Winning and Oscar-Nominated Songwriter/Composer/Arranger, perhaps best known as co-author of "Nadia's Theme" as well as iconic tv themes for shows like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and Mork & Mindy. As arranger he worked with everyone from Barbra Streisand to Jose Felciano, Carly Simon to Harry Nilsson.

"Perry Botkin is a Grammy-awarding winning songwriter, arranger, and composer. With Barry DeVorzon, he wrote the Grammy award winning songs “Bless The Beasts and The Children” and “Nadia’s Theme.” He’s also written songs with Harry Nilsson and Phil Spector (“Paradise,” for the Ronettes), and was influential in launching Nilsson’s career. The son of legendary guitarist Perry Botkin, Sr., he has composed the scores for many movies, and also countless beloved TV shows such as “Mork and Mindy” and “Happy Days.” As an arranger, he worked with Barbra Streisand, Bobby Darin, Jose Feliciano (on “Feliz Navidad”), The Cascades, Harry Nilsson and Carly Simon. As an artist, he recorded many jazz and electronic album, including Ports."
