The Songwriting School has creative spaces for short-term rental, ranging from private writing and collaborating rooms to larger rooms fit for recitals, auditions, vocal and acoustic rehearsals, seminars, workshops, lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and more.

For specific room specifications and rates, please fill out the CONTACT form and specify your needs, target date or dates, number of people, and any other pertinent information, and we will follow up promptly.

There are professional recording studios on-site that can be rented, hourly or by the full day, with engineer. Additional services (producers, players, singers, etc.) can be requested and hired as needed.

This room has hosted interviews, talks, classes, seminars, workshops, and more.  On this stage: Neil Sedaka, author Paul Zollo, hit writer David Baerwald (“Strong Enough to Be My Man”), Songwriters Hall of Fame Jeff Barry, Grammy-Winner Jill Scott, hit writer Ryan Toby (“Welcome to Miami”, Will Smith), 9-time Grammy Winner Cheryl Bentyne of Manhattan Transfer, and more.


Seminar Space, Smaller

This room is where top LA vocal coach Michael Goodrich regularly teaches and has been host to hit writer Dillon O’Brian, Steve Diamond, Marvin Etzioni, Grammy-Winning Producer Bob Cutarella, hit writer Maria Christensen (“Waiting for Tonight,” JLo), and more.


Demonstration Room

This room regularly hosts classes in Logic Pro X, Melodyne, music theory and ear training, piano, and more. The LA Area Logic Users Group meets here regularly.

  • a small two-room production suite 
  • small private parking lot behind the building for room renters, studio clients, and special guests. Free 2-hr and unrestricted parking on our side street, Maple. Free 2-hr parking until 6p, unrestricted after, in a well-lit public lot adjacent to the building on Maple

Please note: there is no elevator in the building for a disabled person or heavy equipment to get upstairs. The ground floor is ADA accessible with a single designated parking spot, fully ADA compliant downstairs bathroom.
