Philip Cody: The Lyrical Songwriter
Philip Cody was a tenant in the fabled Brill Building in New York. There he penned numerous hits with and for Neil Sedaka, songs ultimately recorded by artists as diverse and successful as Elvis Presley, ABBA, Elton John, Sheryl Crow, Clay Aiken, Huey Lewis and the News, and plenty more. With Gold and Platinum records and ASCAP songwriting awards to his name, he has earned his stripes as a writer. Now he seeks with great generosity and purpose to pass on a lifetime of wisdom to a new generation of writers. We are honored to have him teach at The Songwriting School of Los Angeles.
