Keppie is a former instructor at the Berklee Collee of Music who teaches Music Theory & Ear Training for Songwriters, Levels 1 & 2. She was Assistant Professor of Songwriting at Berklee, where she taught Lyric Writing 1, 2, and Advanced Lyric Writing. She is a performing singer/songwriter and the founder and director of KC Song Studio, providing songwriting consultation and artist development to private clients and through workshops. She combines technical and theoretical knowledge of music and songwriting from her degree in Professional Music from Berklee with a love and sensitivity for contemporary songwriting, diverse styles, and a desire to help songwriters clarify and communicate their unique voice. 

John Mayer described her as "a contemporary female Nick Drake" and produced a song of Keppie's in the studio with the Australian-born artist.
